I love seeing what my clients do with their holiday decor in the rooms we’ve designed for their families. The pride of their uniquely designed homes and the special moments they will share with their families are always well thought out during our process. Outlets where window candles will sit, where the tree will make its stance, room enough on the mantle to allow for the perfect garland even an elevator that runs right up to the attic for easy tree storage.

Just like my designs I always like a little something dramatic in Christmas decor.

As a little girl my Nana had a white Christmas tree that she dressed with red velvet balls she sewed individually by hand. It was magical to look at the white twinkle lights shimmer diaphanously throughout.

That was back in the day when a real Christmas tree was all I knew. This looked like Cinderella’s magical tree — it left such an impression that after many sticky sappy Christmas trees I finally committed to my own glorious white pined pre-lit tree!

Adorned with my most favored accessory Disco Balls, these oversized mirror globes nestled into the white glimmering pine needles carefully layered in tulle…what more would a girl want?

As much work as it is to dress the house for a few short weeks, it really creates an ambiance of love, cheer, excitement anticipation and just overall joy.

So its truly important to make the extra effort to give your home and family this special treat and transport yourself to a magical world away from the daily grind.
